Creator & Executive Producer
Stuart Barefoot

Stuart Barefoot is an audio producer and editor who uses audio to tell stories about….audio.
He’s been involved in radio and podcasting since he was a college freshman in 2009. Since then he’s produced dozens of radio and podcast stories and most recently worked at Castos to produce original shows such as 3 Clips and Audience. Along with executive producer Matt Medeiros, Stuart went behind the scenes of some of the world’s best podcasts, such as Bellwether, Camp Monsters, Nice Try! And The Truth. His beat, as it were, is telling stories about the creative process, and in doing so, telling good stories himself.
Stuart has also edited audio documentaries, oral histories and narrative podcasts. In his spare time, he produces his own sports storytelling podcast called ObscureBall and is constantly experimenting with audio formats and new ways to leverage the medium.
As a side gig, he also works as a Public Address Announcer for professional and college athletic events in North Carolina.
Fun Facts: He loves tacos, prefers trains over planes and has never seen an episode of Game of Thrones.
